Finally got around to doing the woodwork for Andy's six pack rack. I'm a terrible woodworker, and it took me 3 tries to make this deck on my bandsaw. Anyways, It came out pretty nice after I varathaned, sanded and waxed it. Everything is bolted up super snug, and its ready for some heavy brinking (thats bike-drinking for those who don't know).
Here's a quick walk around look at it:
Andy stipulated that I had to deliver it with a six pack of beer to share, and even though he was just kidding I did it anyways. Felt pretty good to tell the guy at the Cold Beer n' wine that I didn't need a bag. The cans slide in perfectly and barely rattle unless you go over pavement seams.
Oh, and the upper rail is removable via screws on the underside, so that it can be used as a regular front rack as well. Needless to say, we (Andy and I) are both pretty stoked on the end result.
